Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 August 2026

Africa Ocean Bridge Maritime Operations Group ("AOBMOG," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By submitting a form or contacting us through this website, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you submit our Enquiry form or Get a Quote form, we collect the information you enter, which may include your full name, company name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, your message, and shipment details such as origin, destination, cargo type, estimated volume or weight, and preferred timeline.

Information collected automatically. When you arrive at this website from an advertisement, we may capture campaign attribution parameters attached to the link (such as UTM parameters or a Facebook click identifier) so we can understand which campaign brought you here. Our hosting provider also automatically logs standard technical information common to all websites, such as IP address, browser type, and access times, for security and performance purposes.

We do not knowingly collect payment card information, national ID numbers, or other sensitive personal data through this website.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or prepare the quote you requested;
  • Contact you about your shipment or logistics needs;
  • Maintain internal business and sales records; and
  • Understand which advertising campaigns are driving genuine interest in our services, so we can improve them.

3. Where Your Information Is Stored

Form submissions are transmitted securely to a Google Sheet that our team uses to manage enquiries and quote requests. Quote requests additionally trigger an internal email notification to our team so we can respond promptly. We do not operate a separate customer database beyond this.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

We rely on a small number of trusted third-party services to run this website and process the information described above, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Google (Sheets and Apps Script) to receive and store form submissions;
  • Vercel to host this website;
  • WhatsApp (operated by Meta) if you choose to contact us using the WhatsApp button on this site, in which case that conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy; and
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram), since this website uses the Meta Pixel in connection with our Meta ad campaigns. See the Cookies and Advertising section below.

5. Cookies and Advertising

This website uses the Meta Pixel, a cookie-based tracking technology from Meta, to record when a visitor loads a page or submits one of our forms. This helps us understand which advertising campaigns are driving genuine enquiries and allows Meta to associate your visit with an ad you interacted with, so we can measure and improve campaign performance. You can control cookies and ad personalization through your browser settings and through your Facebook or Instagram account settings.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We only share the information you submit with the AOBMOG team members responsible for responding to enquiries and quote requests, and with the third-party service providers listed above, to the extent needed to operate this website and respond to you. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.

7. Data Retention

We retain the information you submit for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, maintain our business records, and comply with our legal obligations. If you would like us to delete your information sooner, contact us using the details below.

8. Your Rights

We aim to handle personal information in line with applicable data protection law, including Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, or request that we delete it, using the details below.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you share with us. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

This website is intended for businesses and individuals seeking commercial logistics and maritime services. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
